I thought it used to be 7 for stone so sheet metal would be 1 5x that 11 or 12 unless it s been changed no sheet metal takes 5 hits or so to bring down 1 hp two hits with a pick to the soft side.

They are invulnerable to fire damage strong against hatchets but weaker against heavy impacts like explosives rocks maces and clubs compared to other items and building parts.

Stone walls from the outside take one damage per 8 pickaxe hits but from the soft side takes 1 2 damage every hit 7 pickaxes for one stone wall.
Sheet metal while being near impervious to melee from the outside will take 1 damage every 2 pickaxe hits as well as take damage from other tools.
However the weak side of ladder hatches remain bottom.
